Unit3   Language in use

学习目标

1. 知识与技能目标

1. 熟练掌握并运用重点词汇：only， yet， stone ，climb， palace， time ，name ，                                                          roast, another, seafood, entertainment  take off, come true, more than

2.熟练掌握并运用重点句型 ：Sally has invited me to stay with her in England one day.
Has she visited China before?
No,she hasn’t. But I sent her a DVD and she’s wated it.
Have you ever entered a competition?
No, I haven’t.

3. 能够用现在完成时询问和表达经历。

二、情感目标：

通过旅游，了解不同国家的自然环境与文化，开阔学生视野，提高生活品味。同时能够介绍中国的文化与名胜，增强名族意识。

三、学习策略：

-通过个体活动小组合作等方法，介绍自己的经历，让学生在用中学会如何运用现在完成时。

学习过程

环节一Grammer practice (Activities 1-4)

1. Warming-up

Read through the example sentences with the whole class.

1. T: Read the words and expressions in the box with the whole class and ask them to complete the postcard .

S: Repeat the words and expressions and complete the postcard individually then check their answers with the partner.

1. T:Read through the example with the whole class then pair the students to ask and answer.

S: Work in pair.Take turns to ask and answer questions about Activity1.

1. T:Ask the students to produce the questionnaire about their esperiences individually and finish it using “Have you ever……?”

S: Produce the questionnaire individually and finish it carefully.

1. T:Ask the students to work in pairs to ask and answer the questions on the questionnaire.

S: Work in pairs to ask and answer the questions on the questionnaire then show the answers to the class.

设计意图：在学生学会用现在完成时表达的基础上，掌握它的疑问句形式并作出的肯定或否定回答。让学生在自主学习和互助交流时感受语法，发展语言能力。

环节二：Vocabulary (Activities5 and 9)

1. T:Ask the students to write the words and expressions in the correct column.

S: Do this activities individually and then check with a parter.

2. T:Ask the students to complete the sentences with the phrases in the box.

S: Complete the sentences individually then check with a parter.

设计意图：通过本环节的练习，使学生进一步理解和掌握重点单词和短语。

环节三 Listening and speaking(Activity 6-8)

1. T:Ask the stucents to listen and check the correct answers.

S:Listen carefully and check the correct answers.

   T: Ask the stucents to listen again and answer the questions.

   S: Listen again and answer the questions then show up in class.

2. T:Put the students in groups of four ,ask the stuents to work in groups.

S:. Work in groups.

设计意图：本环节层层递进，先检查学生理解细节信息的能力，再考察学生的表达能力。然会以小组为单位来继续操练现在完成时，掌握 have been to 的用法。

环节四Around the world

 T: Ask the students to read “Around the world”,answer the following questions:

    How many people have visited Disneyland theme parks?

    How many people visit Disneyland theme parks every year?

 Let students talk about Disneyland in pairs.Then report the things they know to the others.

S: Talk about Disneyland in pairs,then report the things they know to the others.

 设计意图:让学生了解有关迪斯尼乐园的信息，了解其不同的自然环境与文化，开阔学生视野，同时能够介绍中国的一些游乐园，增强名族意识。

环节五：Module task

  T:Talk about life’s experiences,use “Have you ever…?Finish activity 10.

S:Work in groups of four. Decide the best question for each topic in activity 10.

T:Move around the classroom and ask other students the questions.

S:Write their answers on the questionnaire

设计意图:通过设计学生的问卷调查，询问有关经历，目的在于应用现在完成时完成真实的任务。
