摘要：A rotary machine having a stator with a stator bore designed for
accommodating a jacket. The stator comprises coils retained in notches and notch closingshims, wherein elastic members are provided between the coils and the shims. The shimsprotrude from the bore and the jacket is retained elastically in the bore by the pressureexerted on the jacket by the shims.
