摘要：A data processing mechanism is disclosed for selection of a communicationinterface for a communication device from a plurality of communication interfacesprovided by a communication system. The mechanism comprises a first controller entityfor executing a first selection routine for considering at least one first policy on

communication via the communication system, and a second controller entity forexecuting a second selection routine for considering at least one second policy oncommunication via the communication system. The at least one second policy is relatedto a different aspect of communication than the at least one first policy. The dataprocessing mechanism is configured to select the communication interface based onoutputs of the first selection routine and the second selection routine.
