摘要：A control system controls a turbocharger which incorporates a rotary electricmachine operable as a motor or a generator. When the rotary electric machine operatesas a motor using supplied electric power, the control system controls the amount bywhich the electric power is to be reduced or increased, depending on the rate of changeof the rotational speed of the turbocharger within a speed control range for theturbocharger, thereby reducing the degree by which the rotational speed of theturbocharger varies.
