摘要：The invention provides a method of treating a beta -lactam-antibiotic-resistantbacterial infection with a combination of a beta -lactamanalog. The invention alsoprovides a method of inhibiting a beta -lactamase comprising contacting the beta -lactamase with a beta -lactamanalog. Finally, the invention provides compounds which arebeta -lactamanalogs and compositions containing beta -lactamanalogs. The beta -lactamanalogs have the following form ula (I) wherein R>2< is defined in the application.
