implantable device having an exterior surface, the exterior surface including a plurality ofpores in fluidic communication with an ambient environment. The method further includesapplying a coating including a therapeutic solution to the exterior surface and the pores,and vibrating the implantable device with a sonic wave for a predetermined time using atleast one predetermined frequency.
