摘要：The arrangement (28) has two ripple filters (20a, 20b) positioned in such amanner that one filter is arranged behind another filter in a radiation direction (S), wherethe filters are made from polymethylmethacrylate. The filters are arranged at a distanceof 1m from each other and rotated relative to each other around 90 degrees, such thatgrooves (26) of the filters run orthogonal to each other. The filters are provided forexpending particle energy distribution of a particle beam in the radiation direction. Anindependent claim is also included for a method for expanding particle energydistribution of a particle beam.
