Thank you for your advice. 教学环节 教师活动安排与建议 教 学 设 计  By listening to the song, students (Ss) are getting to know the theme of the unit.  “Graduation (Friends Forever)” is a (一)Warming-up single by American pop singer Vitamin Listen to the song— “Graduation C released in 2000. The song is well known (Friends Forever)”. for being played at high school graduations and at some middle school promotions.  Play the recording and ask Ss to read aloud.  Ask Ss to repeat them until they can learn (二) Telling Apart them by heart. 1. Make their own conversations with  their partners. 3. Listening exercises: 2 conversations 4. Watch a video titled  “Entrepreneurial drive”, about a 23-year old chef with big ambition. (六)Enjoying Your Self Listen to a humorous story to refresh oneself. Explain each new word and phrase with one example sentence presented in PPT. When doing exercises, tell Ss to read the four choices in advance;remind Ss to use grammatical coherence and fixed expressions to help them find the best answers quickly. Watch the video and try to answer the following questions presented in PPT. Explain each new word and proper name with one example sentence presented in PPT. Play the recording and ask Ss to read after it. Divide Ss into small groups to act out the conversations according to the pictures or clues. Let Ss act out their own conversations more freely. Ask some volunteers to present their acting in class. Use a question as an example to show Ss how to pick out key words from their notes to answer the question. Watch the video and try to answer the following questions presented in PPT. Listen to the story (presented in PPT or MP3), read it after the recording, and enjoy the humor in it. 课 后 学 习 设 计  Review the new words, phrases and proper names, and do the listening practices in the unit again.  Practice the poem.
