In his speech “ Where Do We Go from Here?” delivered in 1967, Martin Luther King Jr. mainly states the five ways for the black to gain freedom and equal rights in America. The black can’t share the same equal rights with the white in many different aspects. In order to achieve the black’s dream, first, the black should build up strong self-esteem. Then, the black should boost their power economically and politically. Third, the government should give the black economic assistance. Forth, the black shouldn’t take violent actions. Finally, the American social system should be reestablished.
