在一个风和日丽的一天，妈妈带我到世纪广场去放风筝。 On a sunny day, my mother took me to century square to fly a kite.

一到世纪广场，我就观察大大小小的风筝在天空飘扬。说放就放，可我还没等风姑娘吹起小口哨就跑了起来，这下糟了，风筝不仅没放起来，反而断了一条“尾巴”。 放了几次仍旧没效果，我有些心灰意懒了，妈妈鼓舞我说“没关系，不是什么事一次两次就会胜利的，失败是胜利之母吗！”妈妈的鼓舞让我再一次有了信念。

过了一会儿，突然吹来一阵风，我趁风姑娘还没停住脚步，飞速地跑了起来。风筝越飞越高，越飞越高，好像飞到了云彩上面。“我的风筝飞得最高！我的风筝飞得最高！”我禁不住大叫起来。可是，我由怕风筝断了线，就收回风筝和妈妈一起回家了。
