摘要：An optical fiber switching arrangement contains a parallel- sided cell arrangedwithin an optical fiber at an angle to the fiber axis. The arrangement includes means forintroducing either a liquid or a vapor into the path of light passing through the cell. Thecell is completely transparent to light when filled with liquid and is completely reflectiveto light when containing vapor.
