摘要：Apparatus for developing latent electrostatic images with liquid developerincluding means for passing a carrier past a developing station and a nozzle means forapplying the developer at the station. The nozzles are placed below the carrier path andproduce an upwardly directed laminar flow curtain which impinges the carrier at an anglebetween 10 DEG and 45 DEG to the vertical and in the direction of carrier motion. Meansare provided for deflecting the curtain in the absence of the carrier and returning theliquid to a storage container.
