摘要：The invention relates to a device for controlling electromagnetically operatedvalves in a 'brake by wire'-type electrohydraulic brake system for motor vehicles,comprising an electronic control or regulation unit with at least one valve driver stage.The aim of the invention is to guarantee maximum availability of the electronicallycontrolled system functions, especially in terms of a short braking distance and sufficientvehicle stability, regardless of the vehicle type or of whether the vehicle is loaded orunloaded. To this end, the invention provides that the control and regulation unit (26) hastwo additional valve driver stages (32, 33), to which a first and a second group of valves(11, 13, 14, 17, 18, 27, 28, 34, 35, 37, 38) are allocated and which are used to deactivate saidfirst or second group in the event of a fault.
