摘要：The invention relates to an air conditioning assembly for a room, in particularfor compartments of vehicles such railway cars, busses and airplanes. The air conditioning assembly comprises an air inlet unit and an air outletunit for creating an air stream in the room between the air inlet and air outlet units, twoor more local air treatment units between the air inlet and air outlet units for localconditioning of the air, comprising a return air intake, a heat exchanger and a conditionedair outlet, a cooling unit for cooling a cooling liquid and a cooling circuit for transportingcooling liquid from the cooling unit to the heat exchangers of the two or more local airtreatment units. The air conditioning assembly according to the invention does not needair ducts for transporting conditioned air or recirculated return air, is more compactallowing design flexibility, is less expensive, provides ' more comfort to passengers byallowing better local control of the air conditioning, is easier in maintenance and providesa more efficient removal of used air.
